The Halsey Institute of Contemporary Art and the Charleston Music Hall present a fundraiser for the Halsey. Featuring live music from The Opposite of a Train, comprised of guitarist Bill Carson, accordionist/trumpeter Nathan Koci, and percussionist Ron Wiltrout. With special guests Kevin Hamilton (bass), Charlton Singleton (horn, piano), Wilton Elder (tenor sax), Clint Fore (guitar, tuba), Lindsay Holler (of Matadero, Lindsay Holler’s Western Polaroids), Stephanie Underhill, Joel Hamilton (of Boring Portals, Mechanical River), Rachel Kate Gillon (a.k.a. Rachel Kate), Michael Flynn (of Slow Runner), and others.

VIP tickets include premium seating, a hand-printed poster designed by local artist Gil Shuler, drink tickets, and an invitation to an “on-stage after party” with the musicians.” (photo by Micheline Callicott)
